Red Empire was proud to be asked by Cricket Australia to fly all the way to Parkes in NSW to shoot drone footage for the Woolworths Cricket Blast program launch.
It was a stormy day, but all the kids managed to get a hit with their favourite cricket players including Big Bash League heroes Chris Lynn, Peter Handscomb, Alyssa Healy and Ash Gardner.
This involved the kids and cricketers actually climbing on top of the CSIRO satellite dish at the Parkes Observatory.
The money shot was Chris Lynn smashing the ball towards our brand new drone; the Mavic 2 Pro.. luckily the balls were so soft they couldn’t get enough momentum to smash it out of the sky!
The shot went off on Instagram, with over 8000 likes in the first week!
